Gillian Elshanawany, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board, with a long-standing passion for dermatology. She earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC, and holds both a Master of Physiology and a bachelor’s degree in human biology from North Carolina State University.

Before becoming a PA, Gillian worked for over three years as a dermatology medical assistant, where she developed a deep commitment to the field and knew it was where she wanted to build her career. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA). Gillian values a patient-centered approach to care and finds dermatology rewarding for its ability to improve both skin health and overall well-being.

Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Gillian now lives there with her husband and their dog. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and traveling.
